Gillian Walker (B. A. in Fine Art; Diploma in the Conservation of Easel Paintings) worked in the museum and art gallery sector for 14 years before setting up a private studio in 1991. She has over 30 years of experience in the conservation of paintings, and has accreditation with the Institute of Conservation. The studio is based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and is fully equipped to take both large and small paintings on textile, wood and hardboard supports. Previous clients include historic houses, local authority art galleries, the National Trust, and private individuals. The studio is listed on the Conservation Register.
